Hello and welcome to the Little Bird website! Little Bird is a Chorlton-based catering company, providing fuss-free, tasty food for all sorts of events in the Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire area. Our focus is on delicious dishes, cooked from scratch (no grim frozen sausage rolls!) with the best ingredients we can find. On this site, you can find lots of information about Little Bird, including news, reviews, our blog and, of course, some sample menus. These are just a guide – if you need something different, we would be very happy to discuss ideas – we’re passionate (actually, a bit obsessed) about food!

Little Bird’s Latest…

We donated a fab vegetarian picnic as a prize for the Chorlton Big Green Festival Raffle run by our lovely friends at TAGpassiton.  For more info click here.  We’ll be launching a picnic service (veggie & not-so-veggie) in the coming weeks ready for the glorious summer (yes, it is coming) so watch this space!

Little Bird’s Travelling Meatball Bar was a huge hit at Heaton Moor Producers’ Market last month. (A few pictures here.)  The Meatball Bar is also available to hire for private parties.  Juicy meatballs (or veggie balls) with rich tomato sauce, pasta or crusty bread, fresh herbs and parmesan - a delicious, fun alternative to the usual buffet fare and something which will really make your event stand out.  Please ask us for details or pop down and see us in Heaton Moor on 5th May.
